Evolution Over Time

I was looking into this artist recently named Ed Ruscha who is very skilled and has many beautiful works. In a video about different pieces he has made over the years, they show and analyze how he changed from an art form of just words into words that became art themselves, and then later on into focusing on buildings and other such things. This brought to mind how nobody is stationary in life; everyone is growing, changing, and evolving. As we grow and gain more experiences in our lives we become new people all together and Ruscha’s works really show how he as a person has grown as well. This really hit home with me and the idea that who we are today is not who we will be tomorrow and that we can always improve upon ourselves is inspiring.
